Legal services are provided on a consultation and engagement basis. Fees are charged on an hourly basis; clients receive monthly bills itemizing all time and costs

incurred for the case. Payment arrangements are sometimes made if a client cannot pay the monthly bill when invoiced. Clients may limit the scope of the representation and do work on their own to reduce total legal fees. Clients are given an information sheet to complete and bring to the first appointment with other specific information; advance preparation saves time and money and increases Rebecca’s ability to better apply the law to a client’s particular circumstances. The scope of the representation and the details regarding billing and payment are detailed in an engagement letter received by each client. As a Christian attorney, Rebecca will pray with clients who request prayer be incorporated into management of their case.
Rebecca provides legal services to clients in family matters including prenuptial agreements, marital contracts made after marriage, separation and divorce, property division, child and spousal support or alimony, settlement between former cohabiting partners and enforcement of agreements. Her family law work in the courtroom does not include child custody cases because Rebecca serves as a child custody mediator appointed by the court in custody cases.
